Returns and Refunds
All Baskets and Materials that we sell are sold as new unless specified, if you are not happy with the quality of what you have received then please within 30 days email or call us and we will arrange for your goods to be collected, please wrap the goods it in its original packaging and have it ready for our delivery drivers to pickup. Unfortunatly we cannot refund any orders until we have received the goods.
Please note that goods returned on an unwanted basis will be refunded for the full amount however the customer will need to pay a collection charge to have the goods picked up and will not be refunded the intial delivery charge
Natural Materials
Please note although we try our best to minimize colour variations in our baskets we cannot guarantee that all our baskets sold will be an exact colour match to the baskets displayed on our website. Weatherbeaten gold is a signature willow colour of of The Somerset Willow company and whilst we try our best to create this colour time and time again, on some occasions it may not be an exact colour match to the swatches and picutres shown on the website.
Due to the nature of the materials used, slight variations in shade and colour maybe present on some of our baskets on occasions. Two separate Baskets ordered at different times of the year in the same colour e.g. White, Buff, Weatherbeaten gold may result in the colour not being an exact shade or colour match.
Basket Sizes
All basket sizes are external sizes unless stated.
Please allow a plus and minus 1.5cm (15mm) (0.75"inches) tolerance on all of our baskets sizes advertised and for any bespoke sized orders, we cannot refund or exchange goods with a size that is within our specified 1.5cm +/- tolerance.
Prices
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and include VAT at the current 17.50% rate.
We will not accept any liability for any charges levied by your bank/card issuer whatsoever irrespective of your chosen payment method. Basket Optional Extras Picnic baskets, Ascot Hampers Log basket and Storage baskets do not automatically come with backboards, glass holder inserts or fitted liners, these items should be selected as an optional extra before adding these items to your basket.
Willow Furniture
Willow Furniture prices on our website include calico back and base cushions, the making up cost of fabric supplied by the customer, a choice of eight different colour finishes and VAT at the current rate of 17.50%
All of our Willow Coffee table Prices include a toughened glass top and VAT at the current rate of 17.50%
Please note outer fabric for our willow furniture is not included in the price and must be purchased from us by the meter or supplied by you the customer, please visit our furniture fabric range for more information.
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that the colour of the willow furniture on our website will be an exact colour match to the finished product.
Whilst we will try are best to colour match all of our products we regret to say that furniture bought on different occasions may have slight colour variation. We cannot be held responsible for the amount of fabric meters required for the pattern repeat of the customers own fabric. Bespoke Orders
All bespoke orders require a 50% upfront deposit payment made payable by Cheque or Credit/Debit card.
Willow is a natural material and as such will vary in specific specification, a tolerance of plus or minus 1.5cm will need to be allowed on all bespoke baskets made, we will as reasonably possible try to minimize colour variations but due to the natural willow product there may slight colour variations time to time.
Where the customer has specified the design and/or manufacture, the seller does not accept responsibility for compatibility.
Quotations are based upon the information made available to the ‘The Somerset Willow Company’ at the date of the quotation and in any event of any variations or instructions by the customer, the seller reserves the right to amend the quoted price.
Quotations may be withdrawn at any time before the receipt of the customers acceptance and shall be deemed to be withdrawn if acceptance is not received within 30 days of the date of the quotation.
Should the customer cancel the bespoke order or any part therof the customer will lose their 50% deposit.
